We offer a Visual Arts Enrichment Program to mentor our most talented young artists and take them beyond the standard curriculum. The program includes community services through art, developing creative individual projects, participating in media based workshops and field trips to art galleries. By participating in the program students have an opportunity to develop a rich range of skills including collaboration, creative problem solving, organisation as well as honing their personal artmaking talents. Due to the popularity of the program there are only a limited number of places available each year and it is restricted to Elective Visual Arts students in year 9 -12. Students in Years 7 and 8 may be offered opportunities to be involved in focussed short programs during the year.
Chevalier College acknowledges and pays respect to the Gundungurra people, the Traditional Custodians of Country and the First People of the land on which our college is located. We pay our respects to Elders past and present and are committed to honouring First Nations Peoples’ unique cultural and spiritual connection to Country.
