On a very foggy start to Saturday, where it was difficult to see one end of the field from another, an enjoyable round of sport was played.
The Chev Hockey teams at home and the Rugby teams at St Andrews were all winners.
The Netball results were a bit mixed but all games were competitive.
In Soccer, the Girls 1sts, Inters and the Boys 2nds were the star teams. And the 13’s had probably the most entertaining game of the day with an 8-5 final score.
In the Tennis away matches, Chev 2 had a very close game against St Patrick’s, winning one more game than the opposition, but losing two crucial tie breaks.
In other sporting news, special congratulations to Patrick R. who qualified to represent the Australian Junior team in skeet (clay target) shooting.
On Friday our Debating teams were up against Bethlehem College, Ashfield. Our Year 8 and Year 11 teams had good wins with a very difficult topic ‘cancelling culture’.
